“Antique Recipe”
My mother was a cook and housekeeper for a wealthy family during the depression…yes the one in the 1930’s. She discovered this recipe then.

Ingredients
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup milk
- -
- COFFEE SYRUP:
- 1 cup strong coffee
- 1 cup sugar
Directions

Boil coffee and sugar together for 10 minutes.

Mix two tablespoons syrup, dip of vanilla ice cream and 1 cup milk.

Blend together until smooth, then top with additional ice cream or whipped cream.
