Chicken and Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet of onion soup mix
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions

  1. reheat oven to 375.

  2. Cook chicken breasts in 2 tablespoons of butter in skillet until done.

  3. Cook rice in 2 cups of water until done. When rice and chicken are done, mix mushroom soup and dry onion soup mix with about one soup can of water until well mixed.

  4. Place rice in casserole dish and mix with ½ of the soup mix. Put chicken over rice and cover with remaining soup mix.

  5. Cover casserole with foil and bake about 45 minutes.
