Garlic Bread Sticks

I think this is the first “recipe” I ever saved from home ec class in the 1960’s!!

Ingredients
- bread slices
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup crushed corn flakes
- garlic salt to taste
Directions

Cut bread into slices about 1 inch strips; crusts may be removed (or not).

Melt margarine; add garlic powder or salt.

Dip bread sticks into margarine mixture. Toss in crushed cereal.

Bake in 350 degrees oven 5 minutes, or golden, turn to brown both sides.
