Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
- 2 tablespoons grated orange peel
- water
Directions

In a saucepan, combine sugar and 2 ½ cups water; cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally; cool.

Add in juices and peels; stir.

Cover and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour; strain syrup; cover and refrigerate.

To serve, fill glasses or pitcher with equal amounts of fruit syrup and water.

Add ice and serve.
