Beer Bread

Almost as easy as cracking a can of cold beer on a warm summer night.

Cook time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 12-oz can beer, at room temperature
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Directions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 375° and spray a standard loaf pan with non-stick spray

  2. Mix together beer, self-rising flour, and sugar; pour the mixture into your loaf pan

  3. Bake for 35 minutes

  4. Remove the bread from the oven and pour the melted butter over the top

  5. Return to the oven and bake for 10 more minutes or until the top is golden brown

  6. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before you try to slice it

  7. Serve with more butter and/or your favorite jelly
