Ingredients
- Dough:
- 2/3 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 4 cups bread flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 orange, zest of
- 1 tablespoon gluten, plus
- 1 teaspoon gluten
- 2 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons fast rising yeast (or 2 3/4 t. bread machine yeast)
- Vanilla-Orange Glaze:
- 3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1 1/2-2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions

Add all the dough ingredients to the pan according to the order in the manufacturer’s directions.

Set crust on medium and program for the Basic cycle; press start.

When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack.

Place a plate or piece of waxed paper under the rack.

Make the glaze: combine the powdered sugar, orange juice, and vanilla in a bowl; beat with a small whisk until smooth.

With a large spoon, drizzle the bread with the glaze, letting it drip down the sides.

Cool to room temperature to set the glaze before slicing.
