Broccoli Cheese Soup

Ingredients
- 5 cups water
- 2 10 oz. packages frozen broccoli florets, thawed
- 1 handful onion, chopped
- 4 handfuls mushrooms, chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 pieces chicken bouillon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar
Directions

Bring 2 cups water to boil. Add broccoli, mushroom, and onion. Cover and boil 10 minutes. Set aside.

Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly.

Stir in 3 cups water and bring to boil — stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute while stirring. Add broccoli mix, bouillon, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Stir in cream.

Stir in cheese until melted.
