Shepherd’s Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 3 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 T ketchup or tomato paste
  • 25-30 shakes worchestershire sauce
  • 2 T Italian Seasoning or Herbs de Provence
  • 20 oz bag frozen corn or a mixure of peas and corn
  • Recipe for 8 of Instant mashed potatoes(made according to package directions)

Directions

  1. Brown beef with onions and garlic, do not drain. Add kechup, worchestershire and italian seasoning and simmer 10-15 minutes
  2. Place beef mixture in 2 1/2 quart casserole. Add corn and then potatoes on top.
  3. Bake at 350F 45 min-1 hour or until potatoes are lightly browned.
