Ingredients
- 1/4 c flour
- 1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 t ground cinnamon
- 1/4 t baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 6 T butter, room temperature
- 7 T sugar
- 2 eggs
- 8 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped, melted, cooled
- 1 c milk chocolate chips
- 1 c chopped walnuts, toasted
- Melted semisweet chocolate(optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Combine flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Using electric mixer, beat butter, sugar and eggs in another bowl until smooth. Stir in 8 ounces melted chocolate. Stir in dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
- Drop dough by tablespoons onto prepared sheets spacing 1 inch apart. Press walnut half onto each cookie. Bake until cookies look dry and cracked but feel soft when lightly pressed, about 11 minutes. Drizzle with melted semisweet chocolate.
