Breakfast Casserole

Cook time: 50 minutes
Serves 12 people

Ingredients

  • 1 box seasoned croutons
  • 1 lb bulk sausage
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 8 oz shar cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

  1. Butter a 9″ × 13″ pan.

  2. Spread broutons on bottom.

  3. Spread on cooked and drained sausage and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.

  4. Mix together the eggs and 1 1/4 cup milk.

  5. Pour over sausage mixture.

  6. Let sit overnight in refrigerator.

  7. Mix soup with 1 cup milk.

  8. Pour on top of casserole

  9. Top with remaining shredded cheese.

  10. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

  11. Cover loosely with foil after 30 minutes if browning too quickly.
