Stir-fried Macaroni with Basil, Chilli & Garlic

Ingredients

  • 50g macaroni
  • 1/2 tbsp dried chopped basil (double the amount if using fresh)
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 chilli padi, cut (adjust or omit according to liking)
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil, to taste
  • 3 asparagus stalks, prepped
  • 2 button mushrooms, stems removed and sliced thinly
  • 2 tbsp diced veggies

Directions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions in slightly salted water. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a wok, heat oil and saute garlic, basil and chilli until fragrant.

  3. Add mushrooms, asparagus, and veggies and stir-fry for 3 minutes.

  4. Add cooked macaroni and until everything is well mixed. Season with salt to taste.
