Baked French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of french bread
  • 2 cups of half & half
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A dash of salt
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup of mik
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Pralines, if desired
  • Maple syrup

Directions

  1. Slice french bread into 20 slinces.

  2. Arrange the slices into two rows; overlapping slices.

  3. In a large bowl combine eggs, half & half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  4. Beat mixture until well mixed, but not bubbly.

  5. Pour liquid mixture over bread.

  6. Cover with foil and refridgerate overnight.

  7. Preheat over to 350 dregrees.

  8. Top with pralines, if desired, and back for 40 mintues,

  9. Serve with maple syrup.
