Ingredients
- 1/4 ounce dry yeast
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 4 1/2 - 5 cups flour
- 2 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 teaspoon salt
Directions

Dissolve yeast into water.

Add wheat flour, butter, brown sugar, salt, and two cups of flour.

Beat mixture until smooth.

Gradually add remaining flour until a soft ball is formed.

Knead ball until it is smooth; should take about 6 to 8 minutes.

Please dough ball ino a greased bowl and let dough rise until it has doubled in size.

Punch dough down.

Shape into two 6" rounds.

Cover and let them rise, individually, until doubled.

Bake on a greased cookie sheet, at 400 degrees, for 40 to 45 minutes.
