Ingredients
- 1 cup coarsly chopped pecans
- 3 cups flour
- 1 package dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 egg at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons softened butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions

Grease a 9″ × 13″ baking dish.

Spread pecans and maple syrup over the bottom.

Combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.

Stir in water, 2 tablespoons of butter, and the egg,

Beat until smooth.

Gradulally stir in flour until dough forms.

Cover with saran wrap and let rise for 30 minutes.

On lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 15″ × 12″ rectangle.

Spread remaining butter over dough and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Roll up tightly.

Cut into 12 slices and place in pan.

Cover with saran wrap and allow to sit in hot water for 30 mintutes.

Cook at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
