Ingredients
- 3/4 cup softened butter
- 3 large eggs at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup of buttermilk at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions

Preheat over to 350 degrees.

Butter cake pan(s).

Beat butter and sugar, in a lage bowl, for 5 minutes on medium speed.

Mix dry ingredients together in a seperate bowl.

Beat in eggs, one at a time.

Sift 1/3 flour mix into the butter mixture.

Add vanilla and 1/3 of the buttermilk.

Mix well then repeat adding flour and buttermilk until all is incorporated.

Pour batter into pans.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
