Mom’s Spaghetti Sauce

Cook time: 180 minutes
Serves 8 people
Ingredients
- 1 pkg of Johnsonville mild or hot Italian sausage
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 green pepper
- 8 cloves garlic
- 3 - 28 oz crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 T oregano
- 1-1/2 T basil
- 2 T parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions

Chop up onion and green pepper. Mince garlic.

In large sauce pan, Med-High heat, add olive oil and then onion, green pepper and garlic. Saute and then empty into bowl.

Put the Sausage in the pan. Brown and then drain grease off. Add back onion mixture.

Empty cans of tomatoes into pan and then add oregano, basil, parsley and sugar. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Bring sauce up to a boil and then turn down down low heat. Simmer for 2-3 hrs.

Serve over your favorite noodles.
