Chili Taco Casserole

Ingredients

  • 10 yellow corn tortillas, small
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can green chile pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 2 c grated cheddar cheese
  • cooked chicken, beef or hamburger

Directions

  1. Combine mushroom soup, green chiili pepper, onion and meat.

  2. Place a small amount of sauce mixture in the bottom of a 2 1/2 quart baking dish.

  3. Put a tortilla shell over sauce, add more sauce mixture and some grated cheese.

  4. Continue layering with the remaining tortilla shells, sauce mixture, grated cheese and ending with sauce mixture and grated cheese.

  5. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes
