Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 tube Jimmy Dean HOT breakfast sausage
  • 1/2 c all purpose flour
  • 5 cups of milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Make buttermilk biscuits and put in oven.

  2. In large frying pan over med-high heat, brown up sausage (DO NOT DRAIN GREASE)

  3. Turn heat down to med. Add flour to sausage in pan, mixing until flour is absorbed into sausage.

  4. Sitr in 5 cups milk. Stirring occasionally, simmer gravy until it thickens. If needed, add additional milk until the gravy is the consistency wanted.

  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
