Banana Pineapple Fruit Freeze

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks or 1 20-oz. canned pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1/2 cup low fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup low fat sour cream
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar

Directions

  1. Spread fruit onto wax-paper lined jelly roll pan and freeze until firm, about 1 1/2 hours.

  2. Place frozen fruit and remaining ingredients in a food processor. Process until consistency of soft serve ice cream.

  3. Serve immediately. If too soft, freeze until desired consistency or pack into freezer containers and freeze for up to 1 month. Before serving, let stand at room temperature for 5 to 15 minutes to soften.
