Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 to 2 teaspoons water
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pistachios
- 32 dried cherries
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Directions

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.

Add the almond and vanilla extracts (Add water if needed, but jest enough to help the dough stick together).

Fold in the flour and pistachios.

Allow dough to cool for two hours in the refridgerator.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Shape dough into balls and place ont greased cookie sheet.

Press one cherry on the top of each cookie.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from pan and allow cookies to coll for 30 minutes.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar as desired.
