Anise Candy

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 1/2 c Water
  • 1 1/2 c Sugar
  • 5 tsp Anise Extract
  • Food coloring, if you desire

Directions

  1. Mix in Medium size sauce pan

  2. stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved

  3. boil lightly on medium heat until candy reaches 310 degrees

  4. remove from heat

  5. add extract and food coloring

  6. pour in lightly greased 8" pan

  7. led harden

  8. break and eat
