Ingredients
- Plum or Vine-Ripened Tomatoes, sliced
- Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, sliced
- Fresh Basil Leaves
- Olive Oil
- Balsamic Vinegar or *Balsamic Vinegar Reduction
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar and 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
Directions

Layer sliced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil leaves on a platter. Repeat. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar / balsamic reduction over your salad. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Enjoy!

Cook the vinegar/brown sugar mixture down on med-high heat until it is reduced by half, approximately 3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool before serving.
