Ingredients
- 1roll pillsbury refrigerated cookies
- 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- 1/3 cup sugar
- ICING
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1tab shortening
Directions

Heat oven to 350

In large bowl break up cookie dough. Stir or knead cherries. Cover, freeze dough for 30 mins.

Shape dough into balls, using 1 teas. Dough for each, and roll in sugar, place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until set and edges are light brown. Cool 1 min. Remove from cookie sheet and place on wire racks. Cool about 10 mins.

In small microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate chips and shortening on high 1 min, stirring once halfway through microwaving, unil melted, stirring until smooth. Drizzle icing over cooled cookies.
