Quick and Easy Ravioli Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans tomato puree
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped white onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 3/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 (12 ounce) package refrigerated cheese ravioli

Directions

  1. In a Dutch oven, brown ground beef; drain.

  2. Add all ingredients, except for the Parmesan cheese and ravioli.

  3. Bring to a boil.

  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 30 minutes.

  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese.

  6. Cook ravioli according to package directions; drain and add to soup.
