Kalamata Olive Hummus

Ingredients
- 3 T lemon juice (3 lemons)
- 1/2-2/3 c kalamata olives
- 1/4 c water
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 6 T tahini
- 1/2 t salt
- 2 T olive oil
- 1/4 t cumin
- dash of cayanne
- 1 (15 oz) can chick peas, drained and rinsed
Directions

Combine lemon juice & water in small bowl.

In a separate bowl, whisk tahini and olive oil together until smooth.

Process the chick peas, olives, garlic, salt, cumin & cayanne in food processsor until amost fully ground.

Scrape down the bowl with food processor running, stream in lemon & water.

Process for 1 minute.

Scrape down bowl again.

Turn food processor on & stream in tahini & oil mixture & process unitl smooth, about 1 more minute.

Transfer to bowl and cover.

Let sit at least 1 hour.
