Ingredients
- 5 black-tea bags
- 5 cups boiling water
- 6 to 10 tbls sugar
- 3 cups ice water
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (4 to 6 lemons)
- vodka
- lemon wedges, for serving
Directions

Tie the tea bags together, and place in a 2-qt heatproof jar or pitcher. Pour the boiling water over the tea, and let steep for 5 minutes. Discard the tea bags. Whisk in the sugar until dissolved. Add the ice water and lemon juice, and stir well. Refrigerate until well chilled. Pour into glasses (or Ball jars) filled with ice, and add a shot of vodka. Garnish with lemon.
