Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 cups canned pumpkin
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2/3 cup water
Directions

In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, oil, eggs and pumpkin; blend well. In a seperate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, spices.

Alternately add flour mixture and water to pumpkin mixture, beginning and ending with flour; blend well after each addition.

Pour into 2 greased 9×5 inch loaf pans. Bake in a preheated 350 oven 1 1/2 hours or until a wooden pick comes out clean.

Cool in pans 10 minutes. Invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
