Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups dry red wine
- 1 bay leaf (fresh or dried)
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 cup white rice
- 1 cup halved red seedless grapes
- fresh flat-leaf parsley , chopped (a handful)
Directions

Bring wine to a boil in a saucepan with bay leaf and oil.

Stir in rice; cover and decrease heat to a simmer.

Cook the rice for 15 minutes, then stir in the grapes and parsley.

Turn off the heat, cover, and let stand for 5 minutes.

Discard bay leaf before serving.
