Renata’s Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 small onion , minced
  • 3/4 cup fine dry breadcrumb
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • lettuce leaf
  • onion , slices
  • tomato , slices

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the first 11 ingredients; stir to mix well.

  2. Shape mixture into 6 patties.

  3. Cook burgers in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side or until done.

  4. Serve in buns with lettuce, onion, tomato or condiments of your choice.
