Irish scones

Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp buttter room temperature
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tsps. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 cup raisins (coat with flour)

Directions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients. Add wet. Plop on greased cookie sheet in 14 equal amounts. Bake in 450 degree oven.
