Creamy Polenta

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup instant polenta
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, bring 4 cups of water and salt to a boil. Add the polenta in a slow, steady stream while stirring with a whisk or wooden spoon. Continue stirring for 30 seconds. Reduce heat to low and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the cheese. Cover until ready to serve.
