Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup white corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 5-6 quarts plain popcorn
Directions

Pop plain popcorn.

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

Bring the brown sugar, butter and syrup to a boil for 5 minutes.

While above mixture is boiling add the vanilla, salt and baking soda.

Pour mixture over the popped plain corn.

Place in a roaster and bake for 40 minutes.

Stir 3-4 times.

Spread carmel corn on wax paper to cool.
