Ingredients

• 2 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions

1. Mix confectioners sugar, salt and egg.

2. Blend in syrup.

3. Add shortening and vanilla.

4. Mix until smooth and creamy.

5. Add sugar to thicken or water to thin.

6. Frosts 2-8×9 layers or 1-9×13
