Turtle Cake

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter softened
  • 1 - 14oz bag caramels
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Mix cake as directed. Add the butter and mix well.

  3. Pour half the batter into greased and floured pan.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes.

  5. Melt caramels and evaporated milk.

  6. Pour this over baked portion of cake.

  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips on next.

  8. Pour remaining batter.

  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
