Ingredients
- 6 cups whole wheat flour
- 3 cups warm water
- 3-6 T apple cider vinegar/lemon juice/whey
- 3 T butter
- 3 T honey
- 1 T salt
- 1 T yeast
Directions

Put flour, water and acid medium in a bowl and combine. Soak 12-24 hours.

Melt butter and honey and add to flour with yeast and salt.

Beat until mixed and starting to knead.

Knead on a floured surface.

Let rise in the bowl, punch down.

Divide into two bread pans and let rise again.

Bake at 400 for 10 minutes and 350 for 30 minutes.
