Tootie’s Bread

Great luncheon idea with a good soup!

Ingredients
- Loaf Italian bread
- 8 oz. pkg. sliced Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tbsp. poppy seeds
- 4 slices uncooked bacon
Directions

ice bread into 16 pieces (not all the way through). Preheat oven to 400. Place 1/4 of each slice of cheese between each slice of bread. Place on foil covered cookie sheet. Combine other ingredients except back (makes a paste). Spread on top and sides. Cut slices of bacon in pieces and spread on top.

Bake 20 minutes.
