Artichoke/Shrimp Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb medium sized shrimp, cooked
  • 1 (#2) can artichoke hearts
  • 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsps flour
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/4 cup grate Parmesan
  • dash paprika
  • chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Arrange artichokes in buttered flat casserole. spread shrimp over them. sauté mushrooms in 2 tbsp. butter for 6 minutes. Add to casserole.

  2. Make sauce: Heat 1 tbsp butter, flour,milk. Add Worcestershire, sherry, salt and pepper. Pour over casserole. sprinkle top with parmesan.

  3. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.

  4. Sprinkle with parsley just before serving.
