Gorgonzola and Goat Cheese Crostini

Ingredients
- 6 oz. fresh soft goat cheese
- 2 oz. gorgonzola cheese
- 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream, preferably not ultrapasteurized
- 1 small bunch fresh chives for garnish
- coarsely ground black pepper for garnish
Directions

Using a wooden spoon, blend the cheese with cream in a small bowl to obtain a smooth, relatively homogeneous mixture.

Thickly spread the mixture on toasts and arrange attractively on a platter.

Mince the chives if using.

Serve the toats plain or sprinkled with chives and pepper.
