Double Berry Fruit Freeze

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (18 ounces) strawberries, hulled & halved
  • 1/2 pint (1 cup) blueberries
  • 1/2 cup lemon lowfat yogurt
  • 1/3 cup low-fat sour cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Spread fruit on a waxed paper lined jelly-roll pan and freeze until firm, about 1 1/2 hours.

  2. Place frozen fruit and remaining ingredients in a food processor. Process until the consistency of soft-serve ice cream.

  3. Serve immediately (if too soft freeze until desired consistency) or pack into freezer containers and freeze up to 1 month. Before serving, let stand at room temperature 5 to 15 minutes to soften.
