Ingredients

• CAKE
• 1/2 cup butter or margarine
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 to 3 mashed bananas
• 2/3 cup sour milk
• 1 t. baking soda
• 1 t. vanilla
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 t. salt
• FROSTING
• 1 3 1/2-oz. box instant vanilla pudding (or banana cream)
• 1/4 cup powdered sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 1 8-oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

1. For cake: cream together shortening and sugar. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bake in a 9×13 pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

2. For frosting: combing pudding, powdered sugar, and milk. Beat slowly for 1 minute. Let stand 5 minutes. Fold in whipped topping.
