Frosted Banana Cake

- CAKE
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 to 3 mashed bananas
- 2/3 cup sour milk
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1 t. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 t. salt
- FROSTING
- 1 3 1/2-oz. box instant vanilla pudding (or banana cream)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 8-oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Directions

For cake: cream together shortening and sugar. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bake in a 9×13 pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

For frosting: combing pudding, powdered sugar, and milk. Beat slowly for 1 minute. Let stand 5 minutes. Fold in whipped topping.
