Wild Rice and Beef or Pork

Cook time: 40 minutes
Serves 4 people

Ingredients
- 1 Lb. ground beef or pork
- 1 Package (6.2 oz) long-grain and wild rice mix (prefer fast cook)
- 1 Can (10-3/4 oz) condensed tomato soup
- 1/2 C. milk
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 C. Shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
- Could maybe add frozen peas
Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 2-quart casserole with cooking spray.

Cook ground beef or pork in 10-inch skillet, until brown; drain

Make rice mix as directed on package-except omit butter.

Stir rice mixture, soup, milk and pepper into ground beef. Spoon into casserole.

Cover and bake 30 minutes.

Sprinkle with cheese and bake uncovered 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and mixture is hot.
