Rum Balls

These were always part of the Gregory Christmas cookies. Make ahead of time and keep in a sealed container. This recipe card has two measurements, the second one is the halved measurements.

Ingredients
- 2 cups (1 cup) crushed fine vanilla wafers
- 2 cups (1 cup) sifted confectioners sugar
- 2 cups (1 cup) chopped pecans
- 4 Tablespoons (2 Tablespoons) cocoa
- 4 Tablespoons (2 Tablespoons) light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup (1/4 cup) rum
Directions
- Combine vanilla wafers, sugar, and cocoa. Add corn syrup and rum.

Roll in 1” balls. Roll ½ in chopped nuts and roll the other half in granulated sugar.

Store in tight container. Improves with age.
