Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
- Extra bowl of confectioners’ sugar to roll cookies
Directions

Preheat oven to 400° F. Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla.

Sift together flour, salt, and add nuts. Work into mixture.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes until set but not brown.

While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool and roll in powdered sugar once more.
