Charlotte’s Pie Crust

Makes double 9” pie crust.

Ingredients
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons salt
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 cups shortening
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tablespoon vinegar
Directions

Combine flour, sugar, and salt. With blender cut until uniform, fairly coarse. Stir ½ cup water a little at a time. Stir in egg and vinegar. Chill dough.

Use 1 cup of flour when rolling.
