Amish Baked Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients; mix well. Spread evenly in a greased 13×9×2” baking pan.

  2. Bake 25-30 minutes in moderate oven until edges are golden brown.

  3. Spoon into bowls. Top with fruit or brown sugar if desired.
