Fruit Pie Crumb Topping

Use on muffins or pies, replacing the second top crust.

Spread generously on muffins, they expand.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold butter or margarine
  • 1 dash ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over fruit pies. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
