Lumpias

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 onion
  • 1 pkg mushrooms
  • carrots
  • cabbage
  • sprouts
  • garlic
  • salt
  • soy sauce
  • pepper
  • package lumpia wrappers
  • frying oil

Directions

  1. brown meat in skillet.

  2. while meat is cooking, shred equal amounts of onion, mushrooms and carrots and add then to meat in skillet.

  3. thin slice an equal (to the other veggies) amount of cabbage.

  4. add cabbage and equal (to other veggies) amount of sprouts to the mixture after removing mixture from heat.

  5. mix well and drain meat fat in colander, set over the sink, overnight.

  6. spoon breakfast sausage size scoop onto lumpia wrapper.

  7. wrap and seal edges with water (or according to package directions).

  8. fry in pan with 1" of oil, flipping when needed.

  9. drain on paper towels.
