Cheesy Bacon Bruschetta

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of thick bacon
  • 4 slices french bread
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 swiss chees slices
  • 1 plum tomato

Directions

  1. Cut bacon into 1/2" slices.

  2. Heat broiler on oven.

  3. Brown bacon in a skillet.

  4. Remove from skillet and allow grease to drain onto a paper towel.

  5. Cut french bread into 3/4" thick slices.

  6. Spread with mayonnaise.

  7. Broil, 4" away from heat, for 1 minute.

  8. Remove from oven.

  9. Rub with halved garlic.

  10. Cover bread pieces with cheese, bacon, and tomatos.

  11. Top with remaining cheese.

  12. Broil for another minute, or until cheese is melted.
