Great for Picnics

Ingredients

  • 1 Flank Steak
  • 1/2 Bottle of Teriyaki Marinade (Lawrys or Kens)
  • 1/2 Bottle of Mesquite Marinade (Lawrys or Kens)
  • Skewers (wood )

Directions

  1. Mix both marinades together in large sealable bowl (you can use plastic wrap, also). Cut the flank steak against the grain, on the diagonal, thin. Skewer flank steak like an accordion. Grill over median heat until done, turning once (usually takes 5-7 minutes for medium rare – cooking over makes this cut of meat tough. Serve either on or off the skewers. Also good served cold…as you can take on a picnic or to an outdoor concert. Other variations with Hawaiian Marinade.
