Spaghetti Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. 7 oz. spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs well-beaten
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 1 jar 15 1/2 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella

Directions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to directions, drain

  2. Add butter, cheese and eggs to hot spaghetti.

  3. Form mixture into a crust in 10 inch pis pan.

  4. Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti crust and set aside.

  5. Brown ground beef, onions and bell pepper.

  6. Stir in spaghetti sauce.

  7. Add this mixture to cover cottage cheese.

  8. Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes.

  9. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and return to oven for 5 minutes.
